Kiew Lom View Point | PAI – THAILAND

After we visited Tham Lod during the day, we made a stop at Kiew Lom viewpoint for an incredible sunset with a panoramic scenery.

We highly recommend visitors to combine Tham Lod cave trip with Kiew Lom view point as the view point is on the way back to Pai town.  The locals told us the sunrise here was also terrific, but it would have taken us about an hour to get there (it is about 50 km through windy roads).

OUR TIPS

Combine this view point with your day trip to Tham Lod.  We left Pai Town around 11.00 and made a stop here to see the view of the valley during the day, then continued on to have lunch near Tham Lod.  We spent almost 3 hours at Tham Lod and left here around 4.30pm.  It was perfect timing to see the sunset at this view point (we weren’t rushing).

If you are pressed for time, we recommend skipping your stop here during the day.   Sunset is the absolute highlight.
