Zipline Adventure at Flying Hanuman | PHUKET – THAILAND

An adrenaline-filled eco-adventure through the thick tropical forest of Phuket!

If you are looking for a fun adventure other than water sport orΒ beach-related activities while in Phuket, you might want to try ziplining!Β Β We were absolutely chuffed when we invited by the Tourism Authority of Thailand to try out this fantastic activity!

Set in the jungle near Kathu waterfall right in the middle of Phuket island, Flying Hanuman is an awesome zipline adventure compoundΒ which allows guests to fly securely between trees to trees through the rich, lush tropical jungle.Β  Check out our super fun video from our recent experience there!

At Flying Hanuman Zipline, guest can experience an unforgettable journey through the wilderness which covers a total area of 80,000 sq.m..Β  There areΒ 28 adventure platforms, 15 ziplines, 3Β abseil points, 2 sky bridges, 1 sky rail in total, and if you are lucky you might spot a few animals during your hike between stations.

There is also an abseil point in which guests can go down vertically from the top of a huge tree.Β  From the photos above, you can tell Lookpong and Chris know how to pose properly while ziplining in Asia.

The most exciting part we did was undoubtedly the 100m. line, but we definitely will want to come back to do the 400m.+ on our next visit (that’s the longest zipline on the entire course!).

Another highlight is the Honeymoon Sling in which 2 newly wedded couples, partners or simply you and your friend can fly together at the same time.

The safety equipments at Flying Hanuman is by the famous French manufacturer PETZL which provides highest standards of safety and comfort.Β  Each set of the equipment is rated for 2 tons, and all guests are secured at all time with a double safety mechanism.

Additionally, all the staircases and platforms are made of wood and are custom designed to fit each trees.Β  Hence, minimal drilling was done during the construction.Β  It is in their eco-tourism master plan to provide the guests with a thrilling experience into nature while respecting and preserving nature at the same time.

We all had an amazing experience at Flying Hanuman and would definitely return!Β  This is a family-friendly activity (minimum age of 4) and we highly recommend this to all Phuket visitors.
